Rejecting a TC offer?!

Tips from the Founder of CaseSnappy

I started Equal Opportunity for a single reason — to help others.

I want to represent the idea that opportunities should be equal and based on merit, not nepotism. But I am constantly hitting a wall of ignorance. Sadly, the industry is filled with people who only want to take and take — until you have nothing left to give.

Many people I encounter seem to think that someone else’s success comes at their expense. They couldn’t be more wrong. I want you to succeed. I want you to achieve your full potential.Because I believe that when you succeed, we succeed. But for that to happen, we must all believe it.

So I’m asking you to be the change you want to see in others.

By the way, I'm a finalist for the Bright Network NextGen 2023 Awards in the Commercial Awareness category due to my efforts here at Equal Opportunity.

If you ever got any value out of it, please vote here(create / login with your Bright Network account first)

PS:  If we win, I’ll be giving away the rewards to you guys. (~£500 in various law related vouchers)

Tips from Ayush Sanghavi, founder of CaseSnappy.

Ayush rejected a training contract offer from a magic circle law firm. He chose to focus on building his own startup — CaseSnappy. His tool makes legal research very easy — check it out!

  1. Make sure you’re aware of current affairs. You don’t need to know / read everything. Read more about the industries you’re passionate about.

  2. Really know the firm you’re applying to. It might sound obvious, but it’s really important. Can you specify what separates that firm from the others and why you specifically want to work there?

  3. Practice ! Don’t go in unprepared. You can practice on case studies that can be found online. Having a set answering structure will serve you well during the inevitable nervous moments during an interview.
